It's been up for a while, but now it's going public:
It has most of the pictures that were in my old albums section (soon to be deprecated) with a few exceptions that I'll soon fix. I'm using Gallery to manage the photos, instead of creating everything by hand (with some automated help from a few other programs). Keyur introduced me to the wonders of Gallery, and I'll have to say it's pretty neat. G has also made the conversion to Gallery. There are some neat features, like being able to see the EXIF data for all the pictures from my camera. This includes all the photographic settings, but most importantly the timestamp of the picture, which I think is pretty cool.
Go see the additions for Summer 2003, which include a Flaming Dr. Pepper video!
Posted by ramk at August 22, 2003 12:56 AMdude, about that EXIF info, is that working for you? I suppose we'd need some sort of module installed for us but the last time I checked gallery wasn't pulling any info from the files.
Timestamps would be nice. (been entering them manually)
Posted by: Dan at August 27, 2003 12:32 AMYou have to install the EXIF file manually. It shouldn't be hard (put one file in one place) but it took me 30 minutes. I did it so long ago, that I don't remember off the top of my head why it was hard. If you are trying it, give me a message or a call and I'll try to figure out what I did.
